Payleor

Terms of Service

Last updated October 5, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Mouhamed Bakhoum, who operates Payleor as an individual ("Payleor", "we", "us"). They apply when you create an account or use Payleor, including payleor.com, dash.payleor.com and the store addresses we host on payleor.app. Contact: contact@payleor.com.

1. What Payleor provides

Payleor lets merchants run online stores that sell to people and to AI shopping agents. A store can have a storefront, apps for ChatGPT and Claude, and endpoints for agent checkout protocols. Payments are processed by PayPal.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
  • Give accurate details and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account and in your stores.
  • Each store belongs to an organization. The organization's owners and admins control the store and decide who can access it.

3. Plans, trial and billing

  • Each store has its own plan: Starter, Grow or Scale, billed monthly or yearly. Prices are listed on payleor.com.
  • A new store gets a 14-day free trial with Starter's limits. When the trial ends, choose a plan to keep selling.
  • Plans are billed through PayPal Subscriptions and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund partial periods.
  • If a payment fails, PayPal retries it and the store keeps selling for 7 days. After that, the store stops taking orders until the plan is paid. Your admin stays available.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A new price applies from your next billing period.

4. Order fees

For each order paid through your store, Payleor takes a fee of 2% on Starter, 1% on Grow and 0.5% on Scale. PayPal deducts it from the payment as a partner fee, so you receive the payment minus this fee and minus PayPal's own fees.

5. Payments and PayPal

  • You need your own PayPal business account, and you accept PayPal's terms when you connect it. Your contract for payment processing is with PayPal.
  • Buyers pay you directly. Payleor is not a payment processor and never holds your funds.
  • Refunds, disputes and chargebacks are between you, the buyer and PayPal. Payleor's tools help you handle them.

6. AI agents

Payleor includes AI agents that help shoppers and merchants. An agent never captures a payment, issues a refund or accepts a dispute without confirmation from a person. AI output can be wrong, so check what an agent drafts before you approve it.

7. Your content and responsibilities

  • You keep ownership of your products, images, text and data. You let us host, copy and display them as needed to run your stores.
  • You are the seller. You are responsible for your products, prices, taxes, shipping and returns, and for following the laws that apply to your sales.
  • You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Our intellectual property

Payleor's software, design and brand belong to us. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy or resell it.

9. Suspension and closing an account

  • You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or close a store or an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or when the law or PayPal requires it. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
  • After an account is closed, you can ask for an export of your store data for 30 days. After that we delete it, except what the law requires us to keep.

10. The service is provided as is

We work to keep Payleor available and secure, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms.

11. Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected store in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Senegal. Before going to court, contact us so we can try to resolve the problem. If we cannot, the courts of Dakar have jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We announce material changes by email and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Payleor after that, the new terms apply.
