Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated October 5, 2026
This policy lists what you may not do with Payleor. It is part of the Terms of Service. Payleor is operated by Mouhamed Bakhoum. Report abuse to abuse@payleor.com.
1. Prohibited goods and services
You may not sell anything that PayPal prohibits under its Acceptable Use Policy. This includes, among other things:
- illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, and prescription drugs sold without the required authorisation
- weapons, ammunition and explosives where their sale is restricted
- stolen goods, counterfeits, and items that infringe someone's intellectual property
- content that sexually exploits minors, and any other illegal content
- gambling, lotteries and get-rich-quick schemes without the required licences
- items that promote hate, violence or discrimination
Some categories, such as alcohol or tobacco, are allowed only where the law and PayPal allow them, and you must follow those rules.
2. Fraud and deceptive listings
- Do not mislead buyers about products, prices, delivery or who you are.
- Do not take payments for goods you do not intend to deliver.
- Do not use fake reviews, hidden fees or misleading claims.
3. Agents and commerce protocols
- Do not give AI agents false product, price or stock data, or instructions meant to manipulate shoppers' agents.
- Do not use Payleor's agent endpoints (Store Sync, ACP, UCP, AP2 and MCP) to place fake orders or to test stolen payment details.
- Do not try to make an agent move money without the confirmation it requires.
4. Attacks and scraping
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of Payleor, or try to access accounts, stores or data that are not yours. If you find a vulnerability, report it to us privately.
- Do not overload the service, get around its rate limits, or scrape it with automated tools beyond the public APIs and protocols.
- Do not upload malware or use Payleor to send spam.
5. What happens on a breach
We may remove listings, suspend a store or close an account that breaks this policy. Where the risk allows, we tell you first and give you time to fix the problem. We may report illegal activity to the authorities and to PayPal.
6. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of Senegal, like the Terms of Service.
